Anna Khocho was born in Belarus and currently lives and works in Georgia. Her photographic interests focus on humanity, movement, and fusion. For instance, Anna considers a person as an object and a subject and places the individual in the fore, later placing it in a different space where it cohabits with tree branches or city pipes. By this, the subject is part of a motionless world while still a part of the living.
Beginning in 2021, Anna has explored the human self within dance movement and performative practices. She is fascinated by observing and recording an individual who is deeply immersed in activity.
She rarely uses colour in her work, preferring black and white shots.

The written word has taught me to listen to the human voice, much as the great unchanging statues have taught me to appreciate bodily motions.
